Hello, DCES families,

You will receive our September newsletter next week. However, we have a few time-sensitive announcements we would like to share before our monthly newsletter. Please see the message below from Mrs. Lewis, our school nurse.

Health Office Message 
As part of Arizona Department of Health Services requirements, we will be screening your child’s vision and hearing over the next couple of weeks. If you do not want your child to have their vision and/or hearing checked, please notify me in writing asap. Early Release Reminder
Wednesday, August 30th, is an early release day. Please make arrangements for our 1:15 p.m. dismissal. 

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
Please see the attached Move on with Reading letter regarding our Multi-Tierd System of Supports (MTSS) and our universal screening process.

Thank you to our fabulous picture day parent volunteers! We received several compliments from Dorian Studios on how smooth our picture day went. We are grateful for your time and support and for helping our day go smoothly. Thank you for helping our cubbies be picture-ready!
